Small, and accountable

Bytepath is an operations technology practice in Accra, Ghana. We work on two things: the manual process that quietly costs you hours, and the exposure that quietly costs you money. This page is about who is answerable for that work.

Who is accountable

Two founders, and one of them is answerable for every engagement — you will be talking to them from the first email. Rather than describe that in adjectives, we would rather you ask directly what we have run and for how long, and check it.

Email hello@bytepaths.io and ask. You will get a straight answer, including where our experience runs out.

How we work

Small, and staying that way

The person who scopes your project is the person who builds it. There is no account manager between you and the work, and no junior being trained on your budget.

Diagnostic before build

We do not quote a system before we have measured what the problem costs. That order protects you more than it protects us.

Willing to say no

If a project is not worth doing, or the fix is a setting in software you already own, we will tell you and invoice you for the time it took to find out.

Based in Accra, Ghana

We work with businesses across West Africa. Being here is the point, not a limitation: we can be in your office on a Tuesday, we understand what a mobile money reconciliation actually involves, and we are in your timezone when something breaks.

  • Not a body shop. We do not place developers into your team by the month.
  • Not a reseller. We do not take a margin on licences for software we recommend.
  • Not a forty-person agency. If you need one, we will say so at the first conversation.

Ask us something specific

The most useful first message names one process and roughly what it costs you. We will come back with either three questions or a proposed 30-minute call.
