What we collect

When you submit the contact form we receive the name, work email, company, staff-count range, and description of your process that you entered, plus the optional note about how you found us. Nothing else. There is no account to create and nothing to log in to.

The form includes a hidden field and a timing check used solely to reject automated spam. Neither identifies you.

What we do with it

We email it to ourselves and reply to you. That is the whole purpose. We use it to have a conversation about your work and, if it goes further, to scope an engagement.

We do not add you to a mailing list, sell or share your details with anyone, or use them to advertise to you here or anywhere else.

Who else touches it

The message is delivered by Resend, an email delivery service, and then sits in our email inbox. Those two companies process it on our behalf under their own privacy terms. Nobody else receives it.

This site runs on our own server. Submissions are not stored in a database — they are sent as email and not retained by the website itself.

Cookies and analytics

This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising trackers. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to.

Your theme preference (light or dark) is kept in your browser's local storage on your own device. It never leaves your machine and we cannot see it.

Our web server keeps standard access logs — IP address, page requested, timestamp — for security and troubleshooting. These rotate and are deleted on the server's normal schedule.

How long we keep it

Correspondence stays in our email for as long as the business relationship or enquiry is live, and for a reasonable period afterwards for our own records. If you want your enquiry deleted, ask and we will delete it.

Your rights

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Emailhello@bytepaths.io and we will deal with it ourselves — there is no form for this.

If you are in Ghana, you also have rights under the Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843), including the right to complain to the Data Protection Commission.
